On Sept. 18 one of the new Cessnas LSA prototypes crashed in a wooded area near Wichita, Kan. The 162 SkyCatcher was one of the many prototypes built for testing and had approximately 150 hours on it at the time of the crash.

The test pilot was able to escape using his parachute and received only minor injuries.

Hi All,
As we all know Crow island is a great place to have fun. Rob requested that we meet this Sunday morning to help him with some fall cleanup and hanger repair/maintenance. The old hanger doors east and west need some repair, they are ready to fall off. We don't want them to fall out or inside the hanger which could happen during heavy winds. In addition he would like to do some roof repair to keep the moisture/rain out.

If Sunday is flyable some of us plan on flying up to Shirley/Fitchburg for breakfast then fly back to the hanger to help rob for a few hours. So if it's flyable lets meet at the Hanger around 8AM otherwise lets meet around 10AM.

I had an engine out on takeoff during the Bomb Drop contest. I still managed to drop the bag of flour near somewhat near the target.
I think the birds thought I was their mother.

Yesterday Worcester Municipal Airport hosted the 2008 Porsche Business Aircraft & Jet Preview. The event is a showcase for new Porsche automobiles and business aircraft.
The promoters of the show could not have been nicer, they allowed us display our Airborne
Trikes and then they feed us. The trikes were a big hit at the show, many interested people surrounded the machines when we parked them.
