This film was made with an RC aircraft equipped with a camera. The aircraft was tracked on a screen by the pilot. Apparently the pilot did his homework, no charges where filed by the TSA or the Police.
Many of the local flyers already know that there was a Trike accident at the island yesterday, Saturday November 6. The accident involved a local pilot and one passenger. There were no life threatening injuries and the pilot should be OK. The passenger suffered a broken ankle and was released from the hospital the same day. As you can imagine the pilots family is focused on his recovery. Please help them by not calling them.

A few weeks ago Tim, Barry and I made a 300 mile flight to visit some friends in PA. Our destination was the "Assembly of Aeroncas Fly-in" located at the Shreveport North Airport in Wellsville.
With great flying weather we were able to fly the three trikes for approximately six hours with only two stops. When we arrived we noticed about 20 trikes and many sport/vintage aircraft on the field. It was a great fly-in with a lot of active sport pilots.
We would like to thank Bill, Tom, and Terry for their hospitality at the event.
