Hello all,
In response to a lot of suggestions , we have moved a trike down to Florida for the winter and have it available for lessons. It is located at Wallaby Ranch in Davenport Fla. which is about 30 miles west of Orlando. I am not down there all the time but I will be there from the 14th to the 20th of January and I plan to be there for a week each month in Feb, March and for Sun n Fun in April. We will move it back up in the spring for next season at Crow Island.

This is a plans built fixed-wing ultralight glider that can be built with basic hand tools. The plans are available to download free at their website. There is also a yahoo group based on these gliders, it offers some support for people constructing them, it is called "Airchair group".

August 8th proved to be a great day for a fly-out to the Vineyard with clear and smooth skies. Five trikes and one fixed wing were flown by Jeff B., Mike, Tabor, Tim, Jeff k., and Barry.
Our flying club, Crow Island Aviators, is hosting their annual POT-LUCK picnic 10AM till Dusk Saturday August 15th, rain/wind date Sunday August 16. For those who are interested in learning to fly, introductory flying lessons will be available. We have a small sandy beach on a spring-fed pond which is great for the kids. There will be a BBQ vendor offering hot sandwich items and a live band “Final Approach”. If you’re planning on attending, bring a pot-luck item to share with everyone; appetizer, salad, chips, burgers/hotdogs for the grill, favorite beverage, etc (and perhaps a chair or blanket to sit on). We should know by Friday the 14th whether the event will be hosted Saturday or Sunday so check our website www.flytrikes.net for the latest info. I’ve enclosed directions, from 495 take 117 east about 6 miles then follow the enclosed map to Crow Island which is located on a small private airstrip in stow, MA.
