This post is to let everyone know that Rob will be having a ground school class this Friday(Feb. 2nd). If you missed it last week it's not a big deal, the Friday class was kind of last minute and I know some of you were not able to attend. We had a real abbreviated class and really just went over some of the history of Ultralights and Sport Aircraft.
Please Email me ASAP if you are planning on attending this Fridays class so I can get a head count.

Thank You,
Tabor

I took this picture a few years ago, its a Team MiniMax that my brother Jerrie and I few quite a bit. This was a great machine, it was easy to fly and very maneuverable. The Max is all wood and fabric construction and it is built like a giant model airplane. It was equipped with a 40 h.p. Rotax 447 which provided plenty of power to give it an impressive climb rate.

We have a MiniMax with a fully enclosed cockpit in my father’s barn. It is 90% complete, unfortunately we have been working on other projects and it has not been touched in a while.

Due to numerous scheduling conflicts ground school will be postponed. Wednesday nights seemed to be a real problem for many of the people who wanted to attend the school. We are attempting to reschedule on Friday nights, all other weeknights don’t seem to work for one reason or another.

Please let me know ASAP if Fridays work for you. Many people who attended the school last year want to return for review, however we need more commitments from new students to make the classes happen.

Thanks, Tabor

Hello Flyers,
Ground school starts this wednesday the 24th at 7:00 p.m. anyone planning to attend please Email me to confirm your spot. Rob needs a head count to see how much interest there is and to set up accommodations (tables,chairs,refreshments,etc.). If you are new to the class or returning for review please let us know ASAP so we have the time to get set up accordingly.

It doesn't matter what you are flying, this is a great opportunity to learn from one of the best, Rob is a true pioneer in the ultralight/light sport aviation world we can all learn a lot from his many, many, many years of experience. His stories are both entertaining and educational, especially his "what not to do" stories.

As far as I know everyone who attended class last year and then took their Sport Pilot Written Test passed on their first attempt!
Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions you have regarding the school.

Thanks,
Tabor
