This blog is dedicated to sport pilots, ultralight pilots, and flying enthusiasts in the New England area. Most of the activity posted on this blog will be from a small private airstrip located in Stow Massachusetts called Crow Island. This airport features a 2300' grass airstrip that has been a hotbed for sport flying in the greater Boston area for many years.There are several sport aircraft based at Crow Island including, fixed wings, trikes, trikes on floats, powered parachutes and powered paragliders.
Both flight instruction and aircraft sales are available from Air America featuring Airborne Tikes and Flightstar Sport Aircraft. Crow Island is also home for an active radio control aircraft club located at the east end of the airport.
