This year's Crow Island Cookout was fantastic! The weather was perfect, the turnout was incredible, and everyone had a great time. Thank you to all of the voulenteers who made the day possible, it wouldn't have come together the way it did without the efforts of folks willing to pitch in! Thank you to Rob and Annette Albright for their generous hospitality once again!

Pattern: 1000’MSL, Com 122.9. Use a right-hand pattern for runway 29 and a left-hand pattern for runway 11. No fly bys, No touch and go’s.Please be considerate to nearby houses and avoid the" keep away zones".

Air America kicked another one out of the nest this week. Dennis Baker is now a legit FAA licensed pilot and once he gets his trike N-numbered, two can fly in his Tukan.
John did great on his first solo flight at the Island, but he somehow managed to get away without the ceremonial shirt rip.

It's that time of year again, time for the Crow Island (Stow Massachusetts) Fly-in Picnic. Fly, drive, walk, bike, canoe .... whatever, just get there.! This is an all day pot luck style event bring something to share with you friends, your swimsuit and a folding chair.
The rain/high wind (20mph +) date will be the following Sunday, August 12th.
Attention pilots, anyone flying into the event should fly a 1000'msl pattern north of the airstrip, right for 29 and left for 11. Use 122.9 if you have a radio and avoid flying over any houses, please no touch and go's or fly by's, we are trying to avoid upsetting our neighbors.
